“Cathartic Post Industrial delving deep into the psyche – the core of inner regions violently exposed. IRM is a physical theatre, the shell of body and mind has cracked – offending encounter with the human mind.”
With more than ten years in the making IRM has established themselves as an unique high profile act and released several albums on Cold Meat Industry, Segerhuva, Annihilvs and recently Autarkeia.
IRM`s live performances have during the last years become vivid, organic and audio-schmerzed manifestations of personal catharsis and self-renunciation/salvation. Either if you like it or not; Indifference is not an option here!

In 2012 KRANK is a reformation and a continuation of an early to mid 1980s proto dark ambient ritualist industrial styled project, that featured John Murphy as its core member. For the July 7th performance a newly re-emerged, re-energised KRANK will feature John Murphy, who will be joined onstage by his old friend Till Brüggemann (Gerechtigkeits Liga) as well as Annie Stubbs (SPK, Lustmord, Devotion).
John Murphy conceived, composed and recorded all the relevant material in a rather primitive fashion in various squats and low rent locations around London. KRANK performed a number of live shows in London during 1983/84 as well as a few in various Australian cities in late 1984 and 1985 to varying audience response. These live performances included a fairly notorious live event at the legendary London industrial festival "The Equinoxe Event" in June 1983. During its 1980s history KRANK (in its more noise/industrial and ritualistic phases known as Krang Music and Rkang) also recorded the soundtrack to the Twin Vision video release "Lines Of Least Resistance" (which featured David Tibet on drone and ritual horns in 1 segment), as well as also recording various other tracks and material during the latter half of 1983 / early 1984, which would eventually be released internationally as a CD album in early 1991 on Silent Records. Its title was Krank "Chaos", which more than sums up the sounds within.
In the period of late 1982 to the mid 80s John Murphy was, besides KRANK, also involved, recorded and performed with Whitehouse, Consumer Electronics, Shriekback, Gene Luves Jezebel, Dogs Blood Order, early Current 93, Lustmord some Nurse With Wound recording sessions, Orchestra Of Skin and Bone, Hugo Klang (Disciples of None) and SPK amongst others.
Till Brüggemann is a German-born experimental musician and film maker, who founded the German post-industrial multimedia group Gerechtigkeits Liga in 1981. Since then he collaborated with numerous artists, film makers and musicians. In 1987 he decided to move to England and has been living in London for almost 25 years.

Anemone Tube was founded 1996 in South-Germany; since 2010 based in Berlin. The audio works of Anemone Tube are a unique blend of dark ambient, noise, industrial and soundart with a strong psychogenic impact. The use of constantly shifting and altering sounds and moods is possibly one of the most intruiging things about the audio creations of Anemone Tube.
Since 2007 Anemone Tube has been working on "The Suicide Series". To this fieldrecordings made in different parts in the world build a conceptional basis. In a poetic way Anemone Tube combines analytical realism of the phenomenal world with buddhist psychology and nihilist rhetoric influenced by the works of Michael Haneke, Hayao Miyazaki, H.P. Lovecraft and Yukio Mishima. The first two parts of the series "Dream Landscape" and "Death Over China" were released 2010/11 by Silken Tofu (BE) and Topheth Prophet (IL).
“Anemone Tube stands out among other projects in the genre not due to the quality of his music but rather the psychological basis of it.” (Encyclopaedia Of Industrial Music, Rafal Kochan, 2010)
“Stylistically Anemone Tube avails himself of genres of dark ambient and power electronics,
but created a totally unique new mixture, which constantly spreads in new facettes. (...) Anemone Tube offers intense soundart, inspired and complex, beyond the limits of dark ambient.”
(Ikonen Magazin, Ivan Kostor, 2010)

Active since 2005, HUMAN LARVAE has made his mark in mixing multiple industrial subgenres to his own twisted, doom-laden mix of gloomy power-electronics. An obsessive journey through collpasing human relations and spiritual downfalls culminating in an abrasive soundtrack towards a destination unknown and insecure.

The Films of Martin Bladh: The body is the arena and the projection screen where the obsession and the fantasies blend together. In this new, often paradoxical reality I’m the sole judge, jury, and executioner, prosecuted and convicted. This balance could sometimes be quite terrifying, but it is this ‘stage fright’ that makes me want to search out the terribly beauty of the reflection, the violence of the mirror. Voices, reproductions and bodies assume the shape of a collage – the body and arena of the spectacle, the sustained process of violence, which becomes immortalised and refined through the reproduction.
Martin Bladh is an acclaimed performance artist, painter and underground filmmaker, probably best known from his involvement in the post-industrial band IRM and avant-garde unit SKIN AREA. His work is dark, visceral, hypnotic and disturbing, laying bare themes of violence, obsession, fantasy, autoeroticism, self-mutilation, domination, submission, narcissism. In 2008 he released his literary debut “The Theatre of Decadence and Cruelty” together with fellow Swedish artist Bo I. Cavefors.

DISSECTING TABLE is the solo project of japanese noise-pioneer Ichiro Tsuji. Since 1985 he has been creating his unique cosmic death industrial ranging from sinister ambient to old-school percussion industrial to beat oriented harsh noise madness, often using his death metal-styled voice as his trademark. On the Epicurean Escapism Festival DISSECTING TABLE`s rather less noticed videoworks & rare performances will be presented.

GX Jupitter-Larsen, based in Hollywood/California, has been active since the 70s in the underground art scene as conceptual artist, performer, film maker, writer and is probably best known through his notorious noise project THE HATERS. In the spirit of the festival`s basic idea his short lesbian vampire film entitled "Holes On The Neck" will be shown amongst others. The film's narrative is of a group of vampires, who work and play on their garlic farm. Their human lovers desire to become vampires themselves, and so lure these garlic farmers into initiating them.
